Update 36 — Финальное обновление для 1.7.10 (12 июня 2020)

Это обновление стало последним, выпущенным для версии 1.7.10. После него начинается разработка мода на 1.15.

В этом обновлении была добавлена фракция Бри вместе с одноимённым поселением. Что интересно, это первое фиксированное поселение в моде. Этим оно напоминает генструктуры — присутствуют дома и улицы.

Были добавлены уникальные мобы — шпионы и пьяницы. Хулигана можно нанять после выполнения его квеста. Шпион может дать особый квест, заключающийся в том, что игрок должен незаметно подобраться к NPC и украсть у него вещи.

Из мелочей — прокачка юнитов, новая система вайт-листа знамён, люки из всех видов дерева, единое GUI для открытых мешков и сундука, статусы вторжений в стиле босс-метров и северное сияние.

Members

• Saruman the White, also known as Curumo, Curunír, Sharku, and «Sharkey.» A Maia of Aulë. Original leader of the Istari order and the White Council. After his corruption by Sauron, he renamed himself Saruman the Many-Colored. Cast out from both the White Council and the Istari by a resurrected Gandalf. Ultimately killed by Gríma Wormtongue following the Battle of Bywater.
• Gandalf the Grey, also known as Olórin, Mithrandir, Tharkûn, and Incánus. A Maia of Manwë and Varda. After he was killed by a Balrog, he was reborn as Gandalf the White, the new leader of the White Council and the Istari. Wielder of the sword Glamdring and Narya, the Ring of Fire. Successful in his mission to defeat Sauron, he returned to Valinor at the end of the Third Age.
• Radagast the Brown, also known as Aiwendil. A Maia of Yavanna. A lover of nature who mostly avoided participating the War of the Ring.
• The Blue Wizards, also known as the Ithryn Luin. Both Maia of Oromë. Travelled into the distant east of Middle-earth. Little is known about them and their fates are unknown.

Features

Reset alignment and achievements

If you ever want to start afresh on the server, you can reset your alignment or your achievements hassle-free by using /alignmentreset or /achievementreset

Time and weather voting

• Anyone can initiate a time or weather vote by using /timevote or /weathervote
• This lets everyone online vote for their preference of the time or weather.
• Weather voting simply needs a majority to pass, but time voting needs a unanimous agreement to pass. This means that time votes rarely pass, but can if everyone agrees. It also means that you can simply vote no and the vote will immediately fail.

Hired unit counting command

• You can count your hired units with ease on LOTR Survival by using /unitcount
• You must specify a radius to count in — /unitcount count <radius>
• If you need to, you can even choose to count your units which are in a specific company! (/unitcount count <radius> <company>)

Survival arena

• You can enter our survival arena by using /arena
• This can be used for any purpose — from duelling another player to chaotic free-for-all fighting with other players.
• There is also a PvP-free spectator zone.

Lobby arena

• Do not get this confused with the survival arena!
• The lobby arena is a much larger and more ‘natural’ arena — it can be found in the lobby.
• This can also be used for any purpose, although 1v1s are usually held in the survival arena.

Homes

• You are able to set a home which has no cooldown — use /home
• Keep in mind that there is a cooldown on setting the home — you can only set your home once every 24 hours.
• Like LOTR Mod waypoints, using /home will teleport your hired units and mount, if you are riding one.

Lobby shop

• We have a lobby shop where you can buy things with in-game coins.
• It currently stocks trader, smith and captain spawn eggs, as well as jukeboxes, music discs and war machines.

Dynamic player limit

• The server’s ‘soft’ player limit is set to 20, to make our tablist look neater.
• However, when we hit 20 players, the server allows more players to join.
• Our ‘hard’ player limit is 60.
• Our current server record for players online is 84 players, and it was achieved during an official battle on 17 Jan 2021.

PvP immunity for new players

• As a new player you receive 5 hours of PvP immunity (time played) — use it wisely!
• If you wish to remove it early, you can use /removeimmunity

Stats

• You can view your lifetime stats using /lifestats.
• We also have monthly stats which reset at the turn of every month — you can view these using /stats.
• To check other players’ stats, you can add their name after the /lifestats or /stats commands.
• There are stats leaderboards for each category. View them using /topstats for monthly stats, or /toplifestats for lifetime stats.
• We have a hall of fame in the lobby which displays the top players for each monthly and lifetime stat.
• You can also view our stats on our web-based leaderboard: https://lotrmc.net/stats

Player and Boss Kills counter on weapons

• The number of players and bosses (Balrogs, Hill-troll Chieftains and Mallorn Ents) you have killed with an item is stored in that item’s lore.
• This is commonly used to value weapons.

Team chats

• You can create, join and manage team chats using /team help
• These are an improvement on the LOTR Mod /fmsg system, as they don’t require you to type /fmsg at the start of every message.
• Instead you can just use /team to toggle team chat on or off, and /team select to select one of your teams to chat to.

TPA

• You may /tpa to another player, and if they accept you are teleported to them.
• If someone is irritating you by spamming you with TPA requests, you can use /tpa mute <name>.
• TPA on LOTR Survival is better than other common TPA plugins or mods; it teleports your hired units with you, and also your mount if you are riding one. You are even told how many hired units teleported with you!

1) Хранитель

Нельзя недооценивать и их урон. Страж не только защитит ваших легких мягких целителей и магов, но и внесет свой вклад в общий урон всей группы и поможет вам быстро и эффективно устранить любые препятствия.

Страж, будучи твердой скалой, является фундаментом любого товарищества или рейда, который хочет столкнуться с серьезным вызовом.

Зачем нужен Хранитель:

• Независимо от того, насколько сильно развивается любой MMO-игровой процесс, танкование является ключевой ролью в любом групповом контенте, и так оно и останется.
• Guardian прост в использовании, и игрокам будет относительно легко оправдать ожидания своих товарищей по команде.
• Когда вы играете стражем с таким высоким сустейном, игра в группе становится приятной и расслабляющей, и у игроков появляется время подумать и отреагировать должным образом.

Выберите Страж, если:

• вы хотите играть в танковые классы;
• вам нравится выполнять маневры аггро-притяжения в многопользовательских боях;
• вы хотите защитить других товарищей по команде от урона со стороны мобов.

3) Чемпион

Этот меч такой острый, что прорезал ее кольчугу …

Основной вариант урона в ближнем бою, который имеет наименьший шанс быть значительно ослабленным или измененным. В простоте чемпиона — суть их привлекательности. Еще пару дней назад это место, вероятно, было бы отдано капитану, но класс был заметно ослаблен, особенно в контексте групповой игры. Таким образом, старый добрый Чемпион остается стабильным решением.

Их урон огромен, их боевой дух близок к нерушимому, поэтому чемпионы остаются одним из основных вариантов для парней, которые хотят агрессивно атаковать и резать все подряд.

Conquest

• Conquest is one of LOTR Survival’s most highly-developed systems, and is a complex combination of smaller things such as factions, territories, sieges and more.
• Some players decide to do nothing but conquest, while others prefer to completely abstain from partaking in it. The way it is designed means that both playstyles are perfectly fine. Most players are involved in conquest in one form or another.
• If you like PvP, diplomacy or tactics (tactics within PvP conflicts or tactics on strategically deciding which territories to attack), you will likely enjoy conquest.
• Being prominent on the conquest scene is often a good way of becoming a well-renowned player on the server. You can almost guarantee getting into our lore directory and the hall of fame if you conquer enough land. (Lore directory: https://sites.google.com/view/lotr-survival-lore/history).

• The website above will explain everything technical about the conquest system, but some things can only be learned through experience, both from asking other players and going through them yourself.

History

In the Undying Lands around TA 1000, Manwë (leader of the Ainur, and King of the Valar and Arda) learned that the dark lord Morgoth’s most loyal lieutenant, Sauron, was returning to power. He then summoned a council which concluded that the Valar were to send three messengers to Middle-earth to protect the free peoples and reassure them that the Valar had not forgotten them. Only two Maiar came: Curumo (later named Saruman) sent by Aulë, and Morinehtar (Alatar), sent by Oromë. Manwë summoned Olórin (later named Gandalf), asking if he would go as the third messenger. Olórin claimed he was too weak and that he feared Sauron. However, Manwë said that was all the more reason to go, and he commanded him go, whereupon Varda said, «Not as the third.» Yavanna asked Curumo to take Aiwendil also (later named Radagast), and Morinehtar took Rómestámo (Pallando) as a friend. They were forbidden to dominate the free peoples of Middle-earth or to match Sauron’s power with power and if they deviated from their appointed task their powers and memory of Valinor would begin to wane.

The Wizards were known by various names and were arrayed in different colors. Of those who came to Middle-earth, sent by the Valar, five are known, the Heren Istarion (Order of Wizards). After arriving in Middle-earth, the two Blue Wizards apparently went east before the War of the Ring; whether they played a part in the events of that war is unknown. (Note: According to Tolkien’s letters they may have formed cults for magic worship and practice among the Easterlings.) Radagast the Brown concerned himself mainly with plants and animals, living in Mirkwood for many years. Saruman the White, and Gandalf the Grey spent their time with the Free Peoples: the Elves, Dwarves, and Men. Saruman was wise and respected, later becoming the head of the White Council in TA 2463. However, he became prideful and jealous of the power and purity of Gandalf’s spirit and reputation. Saruman slowly came to betray the original purpose of the Wizards and sought power for himself.

At the end of the Third Age, the Wizards passed from sight because with the fall of Sauron their work was done. Gandalf passed over the Sea with the Last Riding of the Keepers of the Rings. Radagast remained in Middle-earth, tending to the wilderness. During the War of the ring, Saruman was overthrown, banished from Istari Order by Gandalf, killed by a servant after a failed attempt to rule the Shire, and even his Maiar spirit was barred from ever returning to Aman due to his betrayal of Manwë and the original purpose of the Wizards. The fate of the Blue Wizards is unknown.

Hunter

The Hunter is a master of field and forest, unmatched with the bow. Hunters use their survival skills to guide their companions and lay traps for their enemies. Hunters are at their strongest when attacking from a distance, but they are able to defend themselves in melee combat, when needed.

Inspired by Legolas, Prince of Mirkwood, a mighty hunter and companion of Aragorn, the Hunter is the master of ranged damage with additional skills in crowd control and support.

Hunters have the ability to travel quickly to many locations while taking taking there entire fellowship with them (wayfaring), the Hunter has become known as the Middle-earth Taxi Service.

Daily Rewards and Challenges

You can earn up to 17.6k coins every single week from completing daily challenges!

• Every day at midnight British time, three new daily challenges will be randomly selected and given to everyone.
• You can use /challenges to see today’s challenges.
• One challenge is classed as Easy, one as Moderate and one as Hard.
• Completing a particular difficulty will give you various instant coin rewards:
  • Easy: 100c.
  • Moderate: 250c.
  • Hard: 500c.
• However — you will make the most money through bonuses!
• Completing all three challenges in a day will reward you with a 1k coin bonus.
• There is also a larger weekly bonus available:
  • A challenge week starts every Friday (British time), and ends on the Thursday after (British time).
  • Use /challenges progress to view your progress.
  • Succeeding in this will give you a 5k bonus, resulting in the maximum weekly rewards of 17.6k coins!

Crafting Guild

Crafting Guilds are Reputation factions that grant advantages in recipe execution. Reputation is increased by bartering special crafted items. Membership in a Crafting Guild used to be exclusive — you can be a member of 2 crafting guilds at a time (as of Update 25).

Scholars of all levels are eligible to join the Scholar’s Guild, but the guild recipes require Expert tier and above. To join a crafting guild one must first speak to a Master of Crafting Guilds, and they are always found in the vicinity of a guild hall and at many other locations. Then, travel to Rivendell and speak with Guild Leader Ethel Applegarth to continue the quest. The Scholar’s Guild-hall is located on the first floor above ground level inside the Last Homely House. An alternative is to travel to the Crafting Hall in Minas Tirith (Midsummer), especially if one wishes to guild Weaponsmith in addition to Scholar, since all of the guild NPCs are located there. Minas Tirith (Midsummer) is accessible to characters of all levels.

Доброго времени суток вам, земляки Средиземья! Если вы ищете класс, который будет роскошью в любом товариществе или рейде в LOTRO, у нас есть для вас список.

Были добавлены четыре суб-фракции харадримов: Харнедримы Харнедора, Кочевники Пустыни, Южане Залива Копазул и Корсары Умбара. Несмотря на то, что все они являются частью одной фракции, каждая из этих групп имеет свою самобытную культуру и экипировку.

Дальний Харад тоже не был забыт. Морэдайн и Таурэдайн были переименованы в Морвайт и Таурэтрим, были добавлены кузнецы этих фракций. Структуры фракций стали более проработанными.

Ещё в списке нововведений — новые структуры и путевые точки Дунланда.

Кроме того, появилось много дополнений к общему геймплею и контенту. Gruk создал новые двери из всех типов древесины в Средиземье. Mevans добавил чертежи модификаторов, аналогичные чародейским книгам ванильного майнкрафта. Также были добавлены волны — частицы над водой в биоме океан. Были добавлены новые типы тарелок, а самое интересное — была добавлена механика их ношения в качестве головного убора, и даже переноса еды на них!

5) Смотритель

Игровой процесс

Игровой процесс похож на большинство других ММОРПГ игр. Игрок управляет персонажем, который взаимодействует с окружающим миром. Персонаж получает уровни, зарабатывая очки опыта за убийства врагов и выполнение многочисленных заданий. Для усиления боевых способностей персонаж экипирует различные доспехи и по мере увеличения уровня приобретает различные навыки. Персонаж игрока не может умереть и после поражения возрождается на специальном месте — круге камней. Для выполнения особо сложных задач игроки могут объединяться в Братства — временные группы до 24 человек. Так же существует система Содружеств — долговременное объединение игроков, имеющее общий чат и здание содружества.

Существует система ремёсел, позволяющая собирать ингредиенты и делать из них различные вещи.

Персонаж перемещается по игровому миру при помощи различных скакунов, так же доступно мгновенное перемещение, при помощи магии.

В игре есть огромное количество косметических предметов, которые меняют внешний вид персонажа. А так же множество анимированных эмоций.

В игре можно приобрести дома в огороженных поселениях и украсить их по своему вкусу.

С 10 уровня в игре доступна игра за монстров (орк Разбойник, паук Ткачиха, урук Чёрная стрела, урук Вожак, варг Ловчий, орк Осквернитель). Однако игра за них ограничена специальными локациями, из которых они не могут выходить. Полученные за время игры очки они могут потратить на улучшение экипировки и умений.

Монетизация

В игре существует необязательная возможность VIP подписки, дающая доступ ко всем квест пакам (но не к платным дополнениям) и значительно увеличивающая комфортность игры. VIP подписку возможно приобрести только за реальные деньги. Аккаунт игрока совершившего любую покупку за реальные деньги переходит из типа Free to Play в тип Premium.

Изначально Властелин Колец Онлайн имел систему обязательной ежемесячной подписки, но позже перешёл на модель Free to Play и в игру был добавлен игровой магазин LOTRO Store, с огромным ассортиментом внутриигровых товаров и улучшений аккаунта. Покупки в нём совершаются за внутриигровую валюту LOTRO Point, которые можно приобрести либо за реальные деньги, либо получить в игре за выполнение выдающихся действий. За большое количество LOTRO Point, среди прочего, можно приобрести платные дополнения и квест паки. Игрокам с VIP подпиской ежемесячно начисляется 500 LOTRO Point.

As such, his no-holds-barred cry of “Hands off my shiny shirt!” becomes an “It’s Britney, bitch”-esque mic drop for the Third Age, the brave rallying cry of a man burning down a culture of boiled leather and rusty armor and embracing the alluring glow of lamé. We have no choice but to stan a naturally gray legend who also appreciates high fashion.

And in case you thought he was a one-trick pony, look out! He’s vers, hunty! ‘Cause when Viggo stabs him in the stomach, he welcomes it WITH PLEASURE, using his bare fucking hands to pull himself forward for further impalement, clearly the Orc-ish gesture for “Daddy only gave her a taste, but she wanted the whole enchilada!”

Tragically, this lens-fogging display of homosexual mania is cut short when Viggo delivers the killing blow, leaving our man decapitated and us with one nagging question 20 years on, “Hey babe … how’s your head?”

So there you have it, Mordor’s finest ranked from the left-swipes you wish Isengard would have never unleashed to the grade-A babes to whom your hobbit hole is open anytime. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go take a cold shower.

При создании персонажа доступно семь рас: Человек, Высший эльф, Гном, Твердоруб, Хоббит, Эльф, Беорнинг.

5 ноября 2014 года было введено дополнение Update 15: Gondor Aflame, в котором был добавлен — Беорнинг. Он является классом и расой одновременно.

2 августа 2017 года было введено дополнение Update 21: Mordor, в котором была введена новая раса — Высший эльф.

19 сентября 2019 года добавлена новая раса гномов — Твердоруб. У этой расы можно создать как мужского, так и женского персонажа (выглядят они одинаково).

Каждая раса имеет свои преимущества и недостатки, заметные на ранних этапах игры, но сглаживающиеся по мере развития персонажа. Также раса влияет на доступность игровых классов.
