The console itself bears a strong resemblance to the PlayStation, and its controller resembles the DualShock controllers.

week selection menu, Senpai appears in a CRT gaming TV hooked up to a video game console with a controller and an open game case. This makes him the first character to include extra art on his Story Mode character render.
There are schoolgirls in the background of Senpai and Roses with different facial expressions depending on the song. They are amusingly named «bgFreaks.png» in the game’s files standing for «Background Freaks».
Senpai is the third character to not have a «danger» icon in their sprite, the first being Girlfriend, the second being Daddy Dearest and the fourth being Spirit.
On a Twitch Livestream, it was clarified that Senpai isn’t controlled by Spirit and are entirely different characters.
The original idea of Senpai’s week was a Dragon Quest-esque game. Later, it was decided to be a dating simulator instead to fit the romance theme fully.
Senpai was confirmed to be 18 by Moawling on Twitter.
As shown in a piece of concept art, Senpai was originally going to have heterochromia, as confirmed by PhantomArcade in a Twitter Post.
As shown in a Tweet by PhantomArcade, one of the references used for the aesthetic of Senpai’s week and his first song, Senpai, is from the 1994 Japanese dating simulator, Tokimeki Memorial.
It was heavily rumored that Senpai’s design was inspired by Jacob Couch, a man who appeared in Judge Judy and has been seen as almost the exact same as Senpai in terms of appearance. People pointed out the similarities between Jacob and Senpai, like how they’re emotional wrecks, 18 years old and looked like womanizers. Unsurprisingly, ninjamuffin99 has denied this on a Reddit AMA, stating that it was nothing more than an amusing coincidence.
- Additionally, ninjamuffin99 denied Senpai’s relations to Doki Doki Literature Club’s Monika in that same AMA. Despite fan perception of them being siblings, they’re both separate A.I.’s from different games that have nothing to do with each other.
- Senpai is also noted, specifically by the Virtual YouTuber community (including Japanese VTubers who have played Friday Night Funkin’ before), to bear a heavy resemblance to the VTuber, Yukoku Roberu, whose appearance, like the previously mentioned Jacob Couch, bears a heavy resemblance to Senpai. Like Senpai in-game, Roberu has a talent for singing, as he has four songs in his discography. However, much like the Jacob Couch example, the resemblance is likely just a coincidence.
Although Senpai was the first antagonist to die, he was the second character to die, the first being Santa Claus in Week 5.

Girlfriend is a young, light-skinned female with long auburn hair. She wears a sleeveless red dress and red high heels. Her fingernails are painted red. She is always on a set of speakers, sitting on the large middle one with her legs crossed.

During Week 5, she wears a sleeveless red dress with a fluffy white collar, red gloves with white cuffs, white thigh-high stockings with small red bows and yellow bell earrings. The speakers she sits on are all wrapped in festive Christmas lights.

During Week 6, her regular appearance is rendered in a 32-bit style.

During the last track of Week 7, she is held up from her waist by Boyfriend.

The whole mod was made as a one-off gag but due to popular demand, was made into a full mod.
Saltines (Ritz) and Subguy (Tankman) are deeply in love.
Ninjamuffin99 has said that this mod is his favorite mod of Friday Night Funkin’ on his twitter.
In fact, in a interview with Kiwora, Ninjamuffin99 has said that if any mod was to be officially apart of the game, it would be Friday Night Funkin’ But Bad as a art-style option for the game.
On a stream, Chocolate with a Side of Milk is working on a Week 7 update. The only finished part of the update is the music.
M.I.L.K. used to be called “M.E.T.H.”.
In new update, if you load Lucifer’s Underwear, the game crashes.
There is a character garbagedata in the debug menu, when loaded, it is senpai, and sometimes when loaded, it crashes the game.
There is also a character in the debug menu called ninjamuffin, this is just ninjamuffin.
There exists a But Bad version of the Tricky mod, which is endorsed by Chocolate with a Side of Milk, who even provided Boifend’s vocals for the songs and animated the cutscenes.
Unlike the rest of the cast’s names, Grilfend, Boifend, and arguably NEIL’s names were used pre-FNFBB Name picture.
As of recently, Chocolatte has deleted EVERYTHING
As of now, Chocolatte with a side of milk’s channel is completely gone, due to being deleted PERMANENTLY. All that remains of it is an account containing all previous comments made with the channel, completely barren of any content.

in her Channel, considering her last video said that she couldn’t bring herself to fully complete Week 7, she has most likely quit YT, and possibly the mod itself, indefinetly.

Overview

Antagonists

Boyfriend faces off against both Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest, the parents of Girlfriend. Later, Boyfriend also faces off against Monster, a creepy lemon-headed creature of unknown origin.

Location

Week 5 takes place at «The Mall.» This location is inside of a well-lit shopping center with a large dome skylight showing a starry night sky. A large, decorated Christmas tree stands in the middle and snow covers the floor. Many characters spectate the rap battle from either the ground or second floor. A Mall Santa is being held at gunpoint close by where the battle is occurring, sweating profusely with a panicked expression on his face.

In the third track, the location undergoes a drastic and creepy shift as the shopping center becomes largely abandoned and dimly lit in a red glow. The Christmas tree is now decorated with intestines, covered in blood and has a decapitated head in place of the star, one that eerily resembles Girlfriend but with a shadowed face, red facial features and blood around the eyes and mouth. The snow is tinted pink. Large amounts of blood stain the solid railing of the second floor, and the bottom of the escalators seem to be covered in something organic and flesh-like.

Unique Effects

Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Daddy Dearest, Mommy Mearest and Monster all have different appearances to fit the week’s Christmas/Winter Holiday theme.

Appearance

Senpai appears as a young, light-skinned man with a constant blush and parted strawberry blonde hair. He wears a partially tucked-in periwinkle blue button-up shirt, a loose pink tie, grayish-purple jeans held up by a black belt with a silver buckle, and grayish-purple shoes. He carries a brown backpack in his right hand over his right shoulder and holds a pink microphone loosely in his left with his thumb and index finger. His head sparkles whenever he is not singing. Fitting his dating sim origins, he stands and stares forward in the player’s direction instead of towards his opponent.

His previously happy expression changes to a more discomforted and menacing glare in his second track, with the upper part of his face appearing blueish-purple, shadowing his eyes. His tie appears bent. He now clutches his microphone fully in his left hand. The sparkles around his head are now gone. His forward-facing stance remains the same, but his eyes are now focused squarely in Boyfriend’s direction, even while singing.

Appearance

Tricky is a green-skinned zombie with curled, red-orange clown hair. He wears a gray cloak and a dull blue ruff with light blue orbs and a matching pair of dull blue shoes.

During Improbable Outset, he wears a iron slab hockey mask, and shakes slightly due to the Improbability Drive. He holds a microphone in his left hand.

During Madness, after being shot by Hank, his mask is blown off, exposing his face. He lacks skin on his jaw and mouth, a common trait shared with zombies in the Madness Series. He shakes noticeably more than he shaked in Improbable Outset, due to the Portable Improbability Drive becoming activated. He still has a microphone in his left hand.

During Hellclown, due to the Improbability Drive being turned on to its full power, he is transformed into a gigantic flaming-red demon, with all of his body, including his hair becoming made of fire, except for his hands and head. His head becomes a monstrous, inhuman skull, and he has pure white eyes, along with a new set of large, sharp teeth, as well as having claws on his hands. He no longer holds a microphone, or shakes.

During Expurgation, he’ seen in a relatively smaller form. His skeleton is black and orange, with no flesh or skin at all, has glowing red eyes, and a missing jaw. At the top of his head lies a halo, changed by the Auditor’s energy. He shakes incredibly violent, to a point where he is hard to get a clear look at, and he floats in the air.

- He does, however, respect the idea of Boyfriend and his family being angels.
In a humorous note, MizanPloz’s incarnation of Boyfriend’s Dad is the exact opposite of Random Encounters’ version
While MizanPloz’s version is an attractive, kind-natured angel with an elegant style and wears white clothing, Random Encounters’ version is an unsightly horned devil who’s more unpleasant and demonic than Girlfriend’s parents, has a rowdy, Southern American style, and wears black and red clothing.

- Initially, Oliver looks grumpy and serious with reluctance to rap while Father Fairest looks rather kind, caring, and cool. Deep-down, Oliver is a genuinely cool, loving individual who does enjoy his time while Father Fairest is an abusive, cruel figure.
- Design-wise, Oliver is an original mold while Father Fairest is a Daddy Dearest palette swap. And while Oliver looks a bit extravagant and fancy, Father Fairest looks average for the most part.
- While it’s made ambiguous whether Father Fairest is a human or not, Oliver is an angel and is explicitly stated as such.
- In Christmas, Father Fairest holds his wife extravagantly similar to Daddy Dearest and has a bouncer by his side. Meanwhile, Oliver sits besides his wife casually like how an average person would and has his family by his side.
According to a tweet by MizanPloz, his name is Oliver.
According to another tweet by Mizanploz, he’s 186 cm tall.
Oliver has a huge chest and radiates chad energy.

The tutorial stage has many different graffiti drawings, including:

This mod barely has any held notes when Pico is singing, other than the joke Tutorial, Teen Suicide and Piconjo’s School.

The name of the second Week and the songs in it have multiple references:
- «Nothing, by Nobody» Is a reference to Newgrounds’ slogan, «Everything By Everyone«.
- «Adobe Thrash» is a reference to the application «Adobe Flash» and how the original Piconjo user’s Flash submissions were considered low quality spam, or «trash». It might also refer to the «thrash metal» music genre.
- «Piconjo’s School» is a reference to Pico’s School.
- «Trapped in Teh 6AYM» is a reference to Piconjo: Teh 6aym.
- Additionally, the background appears to depict the Portal stage from Newgrounds Rumble.
The noose around Nene’s neck is a reference to Nene Interactive Suicide
The bumps around her lips are herpes, another reference to Nene Interactive Suicide, where she contracted herpes from kissing a boy and decided the best option was to kill herself, as seen in the intro to the game.

Darnell, Cyclops and Alucard will likely be added to the game in a future update. Their icons can be seen in the icon grid, and their animations were posted as sneak peeks. A few more characters without icons were confirmed:

- Cassandra.
- Cassandra’s monster form.

Darnell was originally going be the antagonist of week 3 but was changed due the creator not coming with ideas as easily. However he will eventually get a week, although it is currently unknown when he will get one.
So far, Piconjo is the only character that never had a major sprite change, as the most recent update only added skulls to his singing animations.
Piconjo’s vocals were made using a UTAU of Pico by GenoX.
Windows Defender for an unknown reason will detect this mod as a trojan virus despite the fact that its not, this has also happened with other mods such as Bikini Bottom Funkin.
