Xeno Xenosaga .

Appearance
Perun appears as a dark-skinned warrior woman with blue eyes, white back-length hair that glows light blue at the tips, and is tied into a ponytail by a head dress which resembles a tiara that reaches up to the back of her head, and is partially visible through her bangs. This head dress gives her the appearance of wearing white hair sticks, which vaguely resemble icicles. She is tall, slim and has a curvy figure.
She wears a white and blue form-fitting short dress with four tail-like cloths flowing out the back. She wears long white gloves which are covered by blue bracers decorated with gold rings, with matching thigh-high socks and armored leggings. Her hexagonal Core Crystal is visible on her chest, from which gold rings loop around her shoulders.
Her default Megalance is that of a top-heavy white, gold, and blue three-pronged ornate spear with a grey handle.
Personality
Pyra is a kind-hearted, mild-mannered, soft spoken young woman who desires peace among both Blades and Drivers. Despite being gentle around people, she is not afraid to fight to protect those she cares about.
Pyra is usually seen to be very doubtful of her worth and considers herself to be a burden and a danger to others. Due to this, she originally wants to go to Elysium alongside Mythra to beg the Architect for their death, which they could normally not obtain due to their condition as Blades.
Pyra is also a very talented cook, and can easily produce delicious food, while Mythra is not good at cooking, despite enjoying doing so, people generally dislike the food she prepares and it angers her.

Post-Battle Dialogue
Azami | «I do wish you would lean on me more, Rex. Or, do you think I couldn’t take it?» |
Rex | «It’s nothing like that! I’ll try to, uh… lean on you more.» |
Chapter 3 spoilers:
Azami | «Mythra, you’re blinding me. The light, it’s simply too much!» |
Mythra | «Would you rather have Pyra? I can’t promise she’ll be less bright.» |
Azami | «Oh Dromarch, your fur looks so warm and inviting.» |
Dromarch | «Unfortunately, my fur is too fine to really be as warm as you imagine.» |
Chapter 4 spoilers:
Azami | «My clairvoyant eye sees everything, you know.» |
Mòrag | «So nothing gets past you? I’ll be sure to make a note of that.» |
Chapter 5 spoilers:
Zeke | «Azami, your eye is so cool.» |
Azami | «Why, thank you! Nobody’s praised my eyes before. How sweet of you.» |
Dahlia | «Azami, darlin’, I just can’t get enough of your outfit.» |
Azami | «You’re also keeping very nicely. Ahahaha.» |
Azami | «Electra, what’s wrong? You’ve been staring.» |
Electra | «I was just wondering, if I’ll ever grow up to look like you. It’d be so cool!» |
Azami | «No, Electra. You should just be you.» |
Azami | «You and I are kindred spirits, Floren. Why don’t we get to know each other? (giggle)» |
Floren | «We’re not kindred anything. Don’t get any ideas.» |
Gorg | «Azami, you don’t have much of a sweet tooth, right?» |
Azami | «That’s not completely true. I do enjoy the occasional gummy eyeball, for instance.» |
Azami | «Herald, what do you think of Drivers? Let us speak freely.» |
Herald | «I do not think anything in particular.» |
Azami | «You’re a nasty piece of work, Kasandra, you know that? We’re quite alike in that, you just stand out more.» |
Kasandra | «Uh, okay, shall we switch then? Oh, but I’m not sure I could hit anything with an Ether Cannon.» |
Azami | «I see. Yes, you do seem quite clumsy. Let’s stick to the current plan.» |
Azami | «Hey, Kora. Were you trying to flirt with my Driver in this last battle?» |
Kora | «No! No I was not, not even a little! Azami, stop it, you’re scaring me!» |
Perceval | «Azami, kindness lives in you, behind the rage. Is it too fragile to reveal?» |
Azami | «I am always kind to my Driver. The rest of you can attest to that, no?» |
Azami | «What have you got in the bottle, Perceval?» |
Perceval | «A rare elixir. Will you try?» |
Azami | «Mmm, I’d love to.» |
Azami | «I don’t like earnest types like you, Perun.» |
Perun | «Azami, I don’t get along with people like you either, but for our Drivers’ sake, shouldn’t we learn to work together?» |
Azami | «That may be the only point we agree on. Let’s continue serving with devotion then.» |
Vale | «Well fought! Looks like we see eye-to-eye, Azami.» |
Azami | «We do work well together, don’t we? Let’s keep it up.» |
Azami | «Hey Vess, would you mind making me some aphrodisiac dumplings?» |
Vess | «T-that doesn’t sound like a good idea. But if you learn to cook, I’m sure it would make for an… entertaining evening.» |
Appearance
Azami resembles a porcelain doll, with pure white skin, a shiny and rigid white bust, and floral ball joints in her arms and legs. Her stomach, one thigh and one forearm are cages with blue ether suspended in them and she wears the bones of a hoop skirt with a long black ribbon attached to the back. She wears a hat with an eyepatch covering her blue clairvoyant eye. One of her ears are black and the other white, which may be a rendering error. All of her body is white porcelain except her black shorts, gloves, hat and collar, which are inlaid with blue flowers. Her core crystal is shaped like a four-petaled flower.
Chapter 7: Treachery
Elma asks about Irina’s whereabouts, and Vandham answers that her team has found a Lifehold in Oblivia. Elma, Lin, Cross, and Tatsu decide to go and help Irina, in the case of a Ganglion ambush. Meanwhile, BLADE Tower’s countdown has dropped to 27%.
Irina’s team, which includes Gwin and Marcus, finds a group of alien mechs close to the location of the Lifehold. Elma and the party arrive, and Elma tells Irina to guard the Lifehold while she takes care of the mechs. After defeating the mechs, the party returns to Irina, who is at the Lifehold with Marcus. Irina is about to open it, when Elma suddenly tells her to get away from it. Right as Irina jumps off the rocks, Ganglion mechs attack, setting fire to the Lifehold. The lead mech, Almandal, is revealed to be piloted by Goetia. She reveals that the Ganglion are aware of mimeosomes and that the Lifehold is running out of backup power. After defeating her, Elma then explains to a shocked Irina about the Ganglion and their motives. Irina, Gwin, and their team then return to NLA, with the party following soon afterwards to report to Vandham. By the end of this chapter, BLADE Tower’s countdown has reached 20%.
Trivia
- Being Yumea’s child, she is also Kallian’s half sister. Melia is also Kallian’s half sister through their father Emperor Sorean, but Tyrea and Melia do not share parents and are not directly related to one another.
- Melancholy Tyrea is the only quest to feature fully voiced cutscenes. It is also the only point in the main game that Tyrea is seen without her mask on.
- In the Tomb, she will usually start attacking one of the characters that the player is not controlling.
- As she is of Bionis origin, the Monado will not deal much damage (only yielding 1 point of damage at a time). Because of this, players are advised to defeat the Solidum Telethia first.
- Tyrea and her Telethia are both at level 38.
- She can fly using her wings, a skill demonstrated by no other High Entia.
- Tyrea is the daughter of Yumea and a supposedly pure High Entia male, and was conceived in a special ceremony of the Bionite Order. It was later discovered that her father was actually half-Homs, despite his pureblood appearance. Her mother knew this but, for unknown reasons, kept her.
- While Tyrea and Melia both have High Entia and Homs ancestry, Tyrea has three-fourth High Entia ancestry due to being the daughter of her pureblooded mother Yumea and her half-Homs father.
- In Future Connected, Tyrea takes part in two Quiet Moments, being the first non-playable character to do so.
- In Future Connected, once Tyrea moves to Gran Dell, a male Homs by the name of Thad develops a crush on her. Tyrea’s reaction to this goes unseen.
- Tyrea, Teelan, and Bana are the only named NPCs from the main game of Xenoblade Chronicles to reappear in Future Connected.
- In Future Connected, Tyrea is heard in a post-battle dialogue even though she is not playable and does not travel with the party as a guest. She is the only NPC in the extra epilogue to be heard in a post-battle dialogue.
Trivia
- Rex, Tora, and Mòrag are the only playable Drivers that have more than one special Blade: Rex having Pyra, Mythra, Roc, and Nia in Blade form; Tora having Poppi α, Poppi QT, and Poppi QTπ; Mòrag having Brighid and Aegaeon.
- In the English localization of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, nearly all Blades speak with North American accents. By contrast, most of the game’s non-Blade cultures (the Indoline and Urayans being noticeable exceptions) speak with accents of English native to the British Isles. This is slightly ironic given that Skye Bennett, the English actress for Pyra and Mythra, speaks in an American accent for both despite being British herself. There are some exceptions to this — Dromarch and Nia are voiced with English and Welsh accents — while Mikhail, who is a human Blade Eater, has a North American accent.
- In an interview with Tetsuya Takahashi, director of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, it was stated that Blades were originally going to look like Ultraman, but they were shrunk because it would not be possible to show something forty meters tall on screen.
Chapter 1: New Los Angeles
As they enter the city, they see a broadcast of Maurice at BLADE Tower giving a briefing on the retrieval of the pods. Irina and Gwin then greet Elma, who subsequently introduces them to Cross. A dialogue follows, in which it is suggested that multiple pods were found in Starfall Basin, but Cross was the only survivor. Irina and Gwin then leave for an assignment.
Lin rushing to the crash site
Upon entering the Industrial District, Elma and Cross see a Skell flying. The Skell is seen to be emitting smoke, before crashing not far from Elma and Cross’s location. Immediately, a young girl, Lin, arrives and begins assessing the cause of the crash, as the pilot, Doug, emerges from the Skell in frustration. After assessing the Skell, Lin greets Elma and introduces herself to Cross. She then commands Doug to put the damaged Skell away and joins the party as they head for BLADE HQ, much to Doug’s annoyance.
Touring NLA
The party flies to the Administrative District. During the flight, Lin discusses the progress of New Los Angeles and points out the different districts of the city. Upon reaching just outside BLADE Barracks, the party is greeted by Nagi. The four enter the barracks, where Nagi explains BLADE and its purpose. It is revealed that BLADE is searching for the remaining Lifehold units scattered across the planet, which contain humans in them. Cross, Elma, and Lin then leave the barracks, and Elma and Lin give Cross a tour of the Administrative District.
The group then head back to the barracks where Nagi is staying. Once inside, Cross is formally recruited as a BLADE. Shortly after, Nagi introduces them to FrontierNav. They are then tasked with installing the data probe at the closest FN Site.

Chapter 4: The Ganglion Menace
Vandham reports that BLADE has found a Lifehold in Noctilum, the continent to the west of Primordia. Cross, Elma, and Lin are tasked with retrieving the Lifehold, and Tatsu insists on tagging along.
As they leave Primordia, the party meets Lao, who is directing a Skell piloted by someone else to insert a Data Probe. After Lao notes Tatsu’s similarities to a vegetable, causing Tatsu to throw another small tantrum, Lin introduces herself to Lao. As the party begins to leave, Lao offers to join them, to which Elma accepts. The group of five then set off for the target Lifehold.
While in Noctilum, the party encounters another alien being, who introduces himself as L, a Mira merchant who appears to be familiar with the Nopon race. He then insists on aiding the party on their quests. The party then goes to the Lifehold.
When the party arrives at the pod, they find that Prone have already begun destroying it. The party defeats the Prone Destroyers, but are unable to keep the Lifehold from exploding. After the Lifehold is destroyed, Goetia appears. She reveals that she belongs to the Ganglion, a group of hostile species on Mira. The Ganglion believe it is their duty to wipe out all the humans. Goetia proceeds to attack the party.
The party manages to defeat Goetia, but before they can finish her, another mech appears, summoning Goetia. The mech then flies off with Goetia in tow. After discussing the Ganglion threat, the party returns to New Los Angeles. L is introduced to Nagi and Maurice, who agree to allow L to aid BLADE. Nagi, Maurice, and Vandham are informed of the Ganglion, and the images of alien mech captured by the database reveal striking similarities to the Skells used by NLA. Maurice declares the Ganglion to be a threat to the humans.

Electra | «On second thoughts, forget it.» |
Zenobia | «That’s the warm-up done! Time for the main event!» |
Godfrey | «Uh, hey? I thought we were supposed to be fighting together?» |
Zenobia | «You should really stop limiting yourself and fight properly, Herald. You’d have way more fun that way.» |
Herald | «You enjoy fighting. I have never once felt a thrill from battle.» |
Zenobia | «You seem different to the rest of us Blades, KOS-MOS. Sure you’re not from an alternate reality or something?» |
KOS-MOS | «I am a Blade, just like you, Zenobia.» |
Newt | «Zenobia, you’re a warrior too. Wouldn’t you rather wear a more formal outfit like me?» |
Zenobia | «It’s much easier to fight this way. And change the way I dress? You’re one to talk.» |
Zenobia | «Nice form, Perceval! Looks like I’ve found my sparring partner!» |
Perceval | «Weapons are tools, not toys.» |

Personality
Dunban is a soldier and a hero with a true heart. He is always willing to put his own life on the line to save everyone else. He is easily the most mature member of Shulk’s party, frequently reminding the others not to get cocky or careless and stay focused. He does at times let his boldness get to his head, but he tries to avoid being a coward and motivate his fellow comrades to do the same. As second-in-command and mentor/adviser of the team, Dunban is the voice of reason and speaks for everyone in some of the most dire times.
Dunban injured a year after the Battle of Sword Valley
Dunban is also unshakably determined, even more so than the rest of the party, continuing to wield the Monado even after it starts to degrade his body and paralyses his right arm, though he is ultimately relieved when Shulk decides to wield it. In the Heart-to-Heart «Dunban’s Right Arm», Sharla expresses sympathy that Dunban losing the use of his right arm is his reward for stopping the Mechon assault on Bionis the year before. Dunban, however, states that he has no regrets, as he did what had to be done and they would never have repelled the Mechon without the Monado.
Dunban never forgets that family and friends are important even in the battlefield. He serves as a mentor to Shulk and Reyn; but even though he has patience, he knows better than to be their babysitter and expects them to depend on their own strength.
Like Shulk, he is very protective of Fiora. As her older brother as well as the only biological family she has left, her safety and well-being are his biggest concern. When he believes he has lost her, he tries to stay strong and not let his emotions get the best of him; but he loses his temper after he finds out who «murdered» her. Fiora also says that Dunban is a big softy and cries when nobody is around but that he hates anyone knowing about it.
According to the Heart-to-Heart «Eternal Scars», Dunban feels regret for being unable to stop Mumkhar from bailing on him out of jealousy over him being able to use the Monado for a prolonged period of time while Mumkhar could not. Melia says he should not blame himself, but he believes that the break in their bond happened when he took up the Monado in order to repel the Mechon during the Battle of Sword Valley and he wishes that Mumkhar knew Shulk was the true «Heir to the Monado».
